So here we are, on the day (Thursday) that the new NFLSeason starts, and I am always asked what this year will bring. Now last year,I predicted them to be 12 and 4. Not bad. I said they would beat New Orleans in the NFC title game, which they did win, butit was da bears. I said they would lose to the Ravens in the Super Bowl, whichI was dead wrong on both counts, thank God.

This year we have a new 100 million dollar quarterback inthe NFC North: Michael Vick. (You know, I just can’t stop laughing about that…I just can’t stop…) We have da bears and their quarterback, who has the milliondollar arm and the ten cent brain, not to mention a linguini spine. And we haveevery ones favorite losers, The Lions.

The past few weeks debt-ceiling jabberwocky in Washington D.C. has produced only one clear winner – Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Watching our nations’ leaders flop around like carp in a bucket trying to concoct some incomprehensible mix of bullsnot and pixie dust that will make doing nothing look like doing something has become even more boring than it is pathetic, and that is no mean feat. Markets have not lost confidence in America; they have lost faith in America’s President and our Congressional leaders. We all have.

Governor Walker is looking like Winston Churchill next to these cobs. Residents of the Badger state are lucky to have a Governor and legislature who did their jobs and passed responsible budget reform as their first order of business. The results have been immediate, remarkable, and indisputable. Washington could learn something from Wisconsin, and here it is: you balance a budget by balancing a budget. Go do your job.

Walker inherited a $3.3 billion deficit mess from his predecessor, including a cynical $144 million turd dropped in the punchbowl on his way out the door. Unlike some U.S. President who shall remain nameless, Governor Walker did not make blaming the last guy his re-election strategy on day one of his first term. He went to work; he did his job; he fixed the budget. It was not easy; doing the right thing rarely is.

The socialists unleashed a torrent of hate at the new Governor more furious than anyone ever feared might be directed at our first black President, but Walker did not sulk or pout or pitch a fit in prime time. He did not berate his adversaries. He did not say an unkind word about the public employees whose unions vilified him and his supporters. While the opposition party abandoned their posts and fled to another state, the Governor quietly went to work each day and moved his plan through the legislature.

Walker’s budget fix liberated the state from the fiscal death grip of its public sector unions. He saved taxpayers hundreds of millions, and he saved the jobs of tens of thousands of state workers, municipal employees, and teachers who would otherwise have been laid off, as was the case in Milwaukee and Madison where teachers’ unions shot themselves in the foot by extending contracts before the Walker budget reforms took effect. Those workers whose jobs were saved won’t say it, but I will:

All over the state, local government and school districts are saving money, instituting merit pay for teachers, reducing class sizes, improving services, and reducing tax burdens on the real working class. The rank-and-file teachers in Milwaukee have now mutinied, forcing their own union leaders to re-open contract negotiations to bring back teachers laid off by their union’s intransigence. Whose plan do they demand their unions adopt? Governor Scott Walker’s plan – imagine that.

Wisconsin has already paid back its long-overdue debt to the state of Minnesota, and it is paying back its debts to trust funds raided over the past decade. Walker’s fiscal responsibility led to favorable borrowing terms, saving millions each month in lower interest and fees. Paying down debt improves credit ratings – did you catch that, junk-bond U.S. President who shall remain nameless?

Governor Walker began his term by announcing, “Wisconsin is Open For Business”. With changes both overt and subtle, he has turned a hostile business climate into a far more favorable place for businesses to operate. While a certain anti-business President’s state-suckling show ponies used their subsidies to move overseas – GM to Mexico and GE to China – Walker’s Wisconsin companies stayed here and led the nation in job creation in June, creating over half of all net jobs in the country. 40,000 jobs have been created since he took office in January – that is how you raise revenue without increasing tax rates on anybody.

Employers across Wisconsin have thousands more job openings we can’t fill for the lack of qualified, educated workers. The Governor has announced an initiative to reform our education system to improve the relevance and effectiveness of our schools, once the best in the nation. The state teachers’ union, still seething that Walker’s budget fix did not cause the sky to fall, refuses to participate. Thank God for that, and now Governor Walker is going ahead without them.

It is ridiculous that Wisconsin taxpayers must indulge the vengeful unionists who are trying to recall Walkers’ legislative allies out of pure spite. Those legislators did nothing wrong; they did their jobs - unlike a certain U.S. President who shall remain nameless, or a certain U.S. Senate who has not passed a budget in two years, or a certain Wisconsin former Governor and his legislatures who spent eight years digging the hole Scott Walker filled in only six months on the job.

Recall? Here’s what I recall: I recall that the Democrats who preceded Walker raised billions in taxes and still left the state billions in the red. I recall they looted state trust funds earmarked for transportation and malpractice insurance to feather their union nests and then pleaded for federal rail and health care. I recall that the eighth graders who spent all eight grades under a liberal Democrat governor and legislature tested out at 39% proficient in math. I recall an attorney general’s DUI, springing a legislator out of jail to vote a bill, a prosecutor hitting on rape victims, and bonuses paid to Capitol staffers while 300,000 Wisconsinites lost their jobs. And I recall a few million dollar pile of useless train cars the former Governor bought in secret on a junket to Spain. Drum on that.

All those millions being spent this summer by the unions to recall a handful of State Senators could have been used to help their members meet those new contributions to their own health premiums and pensions that caused them to come unglued. That is, if the unions gave a spit about their members. But they don’t; this week’s union priority is harassing a charity for the developmentally disabled that the Governor supports. You can’t wash off that kind of scum with a chemical peel.

Libertarians like me can find plenty to criticize in Governor Walker’s first six months. He killed Constitutional Carry, supports the smoking ban on private property, is dragging his feet on raw milk, sold out micro-breweries, extended unemployment benefits, is on the wrong side of medical marijuana, and should have passed school choice and Right To Work while the AWOL Democrats were channeling their inner Jay Cutler down in Illinois, moping on the sidelines with their hoodies pulled up tight.

But for the life of me, I cannot understand why Republicans in this state have not turned this recall nonsense into a victory dance. Walker took on the unions and he won. He had a plan and it worked. The left revealed its vile and corrupted true self for the whole nation to see. Each day’s new clown act in D.C. reminds us of how much chaos the voters of Wisconsin avoided by having that little recall of our own last November that gave the GOP a shot at governing in Wisconsin.

If they don’t have the nards for it, let me say it for them and every other fiscally responsible citizen of this state: Thank you, Scott Walker.

"This is a disaster," said Mark Miller, the Wisconsin Senate Democratic leader, in February after Republican Gov. Scott Walker proposed a budget bill that would curtail the collective bargaining powers of some public employees. Miller predicted catastrophe if the bill were to become law -- a charge repeated thousands of times by his fellow Democrats, union officials, and protesters in the streets.
Now the bill is law, and we have some very early evidence of how it is working. And for one beleaguered Wisconsin school district, it's a godsend, not a disaster.
The Kaukauna School District, in the Fox River Valley of Wisconsin near Appleton, has about 4,200 students and about 400 employees. It has struggled in recent times and this year faced a deficit of $400,000. But after the law went into effect, at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, school officials put in place new policies they estimate will turn that $400,000 deficit into a $1.5 million surplus. And it's all because of the very provisions that union leaders predicted would be disastrous.

This is but one of hundreds of cities state wide, that have found that Walkers Budget was real and very tide-changing.

If next year the American people pull the plug on the Obama presidency, mark down the past week as the beginning of the end . . . and what looks like the real beginning of Tim Pawlenty's candidacy.

Incumbency isn't merely a function of political inevitability but of the fact that a presidency commands potent tools of self-restoration. Barack Obama's decision to kill Osama bin Laden was one such weapon. But we now see that this welcome May Surprise was insufficient to thwart the one force bigger than the American presidency—the U.S. economy. As of this week, it's looking like a long mudslide through the economy to November 2012.

The Washington Post/ABC poll out Tuesday reported that the bin Laden uptick in approval for the president has washed away already; some 59% profess disdain for the president's mishandling of the economy.

The catalyst was last Friday's depressing numbers on new job creation. Instead of the 175,000 new May jobs some economists thought they saw in their liquid crystal algorithms, only 54,000 jobs materialized in the real world. As bad, the Case-Shiller index revealed a bad housing market getting worse. Also as bad, most leading economic indicators appeared to be leading from behind. The stock market, the last redoubt of the optimists, is going south.

Austan Goolsbee, the president's top economic adviser, used the Sunday morning platforms to argue that the "variable" jobs numbers were "bumps on the road to recovery." Pro-administration analysts, including Mr. Obama himself, argued that the economy was battling tough but temporary "headwinds" such as Asian tsunamis or Midwest tornadoes that disrupt supply chains. In defense of the integrity of the government's data gatherers, the Bureau of Labor Statistics put out a statement that "We found no clear impact of the disasters on the national employment and unemployment data for May."

Barack Obama's worst week was about more than bad data. The two great legislative monuments to the first Obama term, the remaking of the health-care industry and the Dodd-Frank financial reform, look like they've got serious structural cracks. A McKinsey report estimates that a third of employers will abandon their health-insurance plans come 2014. On Tuesday, The Wall Street Journal reported that the failure (or inability) of Dodd-Frank's regulatory arm to write new rules for the $583 trillion derivatives market has the financial sector in a panic over its legal exposure.

The worst was yet to come: Mr. Goolsbee announced he was departing the White House for the irresistible pull of academic tenure. What this signifies is that Mr. Goolsbee, a reputable economist, knows that in terms of economic policy, the Obama armory is empty. From within the exclusively demand-side context of the president's economic policy, there are no more bullets in the carbines. This president is now virtually defenseless against the inexorable forces of the U.S. economy. All that's left is whatever comes of Ben Bernanke's 30 months of close-to-zero interest rates atop two Quantitative Easings, the greatest untested economics experiment in the history of the world.

No wonder Tim Pawlenty is smiling. Amid a news cycle whose message is "nothing's working," Mr. Pawlenty delivered a major speech on economic policy whose title could have been: All the Things Barack Obama Has Not Tried to Do to Lift the Economy and Never Will.

Whether Gov. Pawlenty's prescriptions—dramatically lower individual and corporate taxes, zero taxes on capital gains and dividends, sunset provisions for federal regulations and a growth-rate target of 5%—are provable as solutions is politically beside the point at this moment. As substantive brand differentiation, the Pawlenty speech was a success.

There is, however, a serious policy implication inside the Pawlenty proposals. We are heading toward an election fought over the economy. That's good because ultimately this means the subject is growth. The one consensus that exists across the political spectrum is that strong economic growth eases many problems—from the entitlement burden to the tragedy of high youth unemployment.

The battle will be fought over economic growth and how we get it—Obama's way or something close to the opposite of Obama's way. On one hand is Barack Obama's government-led "investment" mix, embedded with spending raised to 24% of GDP. On the other is the alternative GOP vision, which is starting to gel.

The Washington Post this week ran a long article to prove (and lament) that the GOP's "anti-tax orthodoxy goes deep." But why stop there? Add to this the tea party's anti-spending orthodoxy. Now virtually all Republican candidates agree that the public sector's contribution to growth is to cut spending, while tax cuts should be used to rediscover the private sector.

This "orthodoxy" informs John Boehner's insistence that any increase in the debt ceiling be matched by real spending cuts. It informs black Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain's withering, and increasingly effective, rhetorical assault on Mr. Obama's obliviousness to the needs of the private sector. Like Gov. Pawlenty, Mr. Cain also would eliminate the capital gains tax and cut others to enhance business formation.

Barack Obama will have better weeks than this. On the available evidence, however, the trend lines for politics and the economy are becoming clearer every day.

EXPIRATION DATE: On March 23, 2010, Obama signed the individual mandate into law.

HEALTH-CARE NEGOTIATIONS ON C-SPAN

STATEMENT: “These negotiations will be on C-SPAN, and so the public will be part of the conversation and will see the decisions that are being made.” January 20, 2008, and seven other times.

My Dear friends,
this is not a time to talk, it’s a time to act, but before I act I want to make clear where we are headed from my perspective. I am getting involved in local politics as never before, and people have been praising as well as criticizing my blog. As you can see by the map further down on the right, I am read on nearly every continent and few, other than the occasionally dithering fool who is ensconced in the fringe of the loony left, have commented against my posts. I’ll wear that like a badge of honor. None on the left have solid ground to stand on.

I do not mince words. I’m a brief speaker for a simple reason: You can remember what’s said if the speaker speaks his mind and then is silent to the assault. I do not change my mind a lot but I am open to real truth in the face of an ever changing society.

I have not written lately because I had nothing to say. Liberals like our President are making my job easy. The more they speak, the more they double speak and demagogue, attempting to have it both ways. My work with our Governor has ended and the experience was nothing short of enlightening.

That being said, here are my predictions for the not too distant future:

1. The Walker recall effort will fall woefully short.

2. Though it was found today by a Dane County Judge (sorry for the oxy-moron) to be void, I am sure the constitutionality of the collective bargaining law will be upheld by Wisconsin’s Supreme Court on appeal.

3. President Obama will not win re-election… Not by an epic long shot.

4. Sarah Palin will win the nomination and the election.

5. She will choose a very exciting running mate which will cinch the victory.

After refusing to wipe up the mess, according to the police report, the sixth-grader refused to sit and wait for the other students to return to class so the staff member could deal with him individually.
He then allegedly ran away — through hallways and the kitchen — when the police officer attempted to escort him to the principal’s office.
Once caught, he fought and kicked the officer in attempts to get away and eventually was put in handcuffs.
The student was released to a parent.

Human error seems to have been the reason we were so close. I’m sure the Unions sent Kloppenburg out to claim victory so that liberals could once again say “They stole it.”

Upon further review, Scott Walker and the people of Wisconsin said “screw you” to mob rule. This is a wonderful development, but as the article says, these numbers will change again and again and again. But it’s nice to know this time it was found early and honestly.

I’m prayed up. I’ve worshipped my King this day and I’m feeling curious about my life this week. I know my plans need to be flexible because my job demands I’m available all the time. I want to be well informed about what is happening. The fact is, we are at war: War in three countries. Men and women are placing there lives on the line for my life. There is no greater love than this. This is what God has said.

This latest battle was all about timing. It was about decisive actions and focused clout. It was doing what was being asked of us in a way that assured greatest success. So we have been waiting. Waiting for our President to tell us just what is this new conflict about. There was no Oval Office speech. There was a South American trip. There was no news conference: that was canceled, leaving reporters dumbfounded, and the American people to guess what was going on by what the press allowed us to see. We sure did not see much we wanted to see, I can tell you that for sure.

How much grace will we afford this President? Would anyone be upset had this been a Republican President? It’s been more than a week folks. A Freaking WEEK!

ABC News had Defense Secretary Bill Gates on “This Week” along with Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. In that interview they are asked, “Do you think Libya posed an actual or imminent threat to the United States?”

“No, no,” Gates said in a joint appearance with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. “It was not -- it was not a vital national interest to the United States, but it was an interest and it was an interest for all of the reasons Secretary Clinton talked about. The engagement of the Arabs, the engagement of the Europeans, the general humanitarian question that was at stake,” he said.
Gates explained that there was more at stake, however. “There was another piece of this though, that certainly was a consideration. You've had revolutions on both the East and the West of Libya,” he said, emphasizing the potential wave of refugees from Libya could have destabilized Tunisia and Egypt.
“So you had a potentially significantly destabilizing event taking place in Libya that put at risk potentially the revolutions in both Tunisia and Egypt,” the Secretary said. “And that was another consideration I think we took into account.”
During his campaign for the Presidency, in December, 2007, Barack Obama told The Boston Globe that “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”
Earlier in 2007, then-Senator Hillary Clinton said in a speech on the Senate floor that, “If the administration believes that any -- any -- use of force against Iran is necessary, the President must come to Congress to seek that authority.”

At this point, I would just like answers:

One cognizant message coming from… maybe even two people…would be nice. We are all over the map with this guy and the message changes from hour to person to hour to person. It’s incoherent. But this is getting well down the freeway from ridicules now and we are in “What-the-heck-are-you-doing-ville.” The accomplice press is like deer in headlights. They won’t ask the man tough questions they’d ask…most anybody else. This is just pie in the sky worship. Having us believe this President is so intellectual, so nuanced, that we are not ready to hear Him Speak the Words!

We need leadership Mr. President. You can’t seem to lead. You talk for days and days and then we get six different messages. You get hacked off because some your own party is calling your actions impeachable and are asking how this is not an impeachable offence to The Constitution. You go on a trip to Rio as men and women are placed in harms way. You play golf and have state dinners and the American People are in the dark as to why you did this so slowly if your intent was to do it all along?

You, Mr. President, are creating chaos where none need exist.

I pray for you each night. Are you listening to God sir?

You see, I wonder about that. If you were listening to God,

you would be decisive and focused and our in front where leaders go.

Lord, I need to talk with you today. My heart is aching and it just will not stop. I’m trying to put my faith where my fear is, but Lord it is more difficult today than I can imagine. I’ve grown angry at my countries leader. Lord, there are some things I just cannot countenance.
Today, as an American, I am unable to support my President today.
I hear people saying things like, “He hasn‘t the ability to speak the truth because there’s no truth in him.” Can this be true? More importantly can the American people actually have these feelings about there leader? People are calling him things like, “Apologizer-In-Chief, Marxist-In-Chief, Divider-In-Chief, Ummm-In-Chief, Bower-In-Chief, Debtor-In-Chief Golfer-In-Chief, NCAA-Bracket-In-Chief, WH Partier-In-Chief, ANTI-Constitution-In-Chief” and the like. He has to hear this. He must know what people perceive him to be, yet today he takes off on yet another vacation to Rio.
Lord help me for I have no way to defend these actions.
Disappointment and regret have led to deeper, more emotional outbursts and fits of rage than would be acceptable. Every night, my son, my wife and I call upon your name, and for many reasons, but we always close by asking you to give this countries leaders your grace, your wisdom and your direction.
My distress is born of the fact that this President will not lead.
Even those around him are turning and walking away.
He seems rudderless.
It should not have come to this. These are our leaders, oh Lord. Yet after Tunisia in December and Egypt in January, the administration cannot say it was caught off guard by developments in Libya. A full month since brave revolutionaries stood up to the dictator Muammar Qaddafi, and two weeks since President Obama declared that Qaddafi had lost legitimacy and must go, the Obama administration still has no defined objectives or plan of action. The administration hasn’t even extended recognition to the opposition National Council, who at the moment is the only organized political alternative to Qaddafi.

Even the French have taken this minimal step.

Today I see him more concerned with a basketball tournament than our troops. He spends his time working on his NCAA brackets and a seemingly blind eye to the devastation of Japan. His statement yesterday implying Japan was strong enough to pull out of this on its own has caused me to become livid with him. At one time or another, all Americans have questioned his heart, not being convinced by his words which claim you to be Lord. What we see today is a President whose ego is unconscionable. The people of Libya have been calling for America to come to their aid for weeks. They fight against a tyrant who has no mercy and no other mission but to destroy the people’s effort to be free of him. They are dying in the streets because he will not help them. And today he is taking his family on yet another vacation.

I ask for you to give me wisdom, for I do not know how to explain this to my son. Lives are being snuffed out while he talks to America about how he puts one team over another. Where can I go with such rage? I need your help oh God. For I am at a point now where I can no longer listen to him, pray for him or follow him on anything. Please Father, help me I pray. People are dying and he could not care any less than he does right now.

It is the height of hypocrisy: Something he claims and complains conservatives and evangelicals do with amazing consistency. It’s so easy to point to others immorality when you don't have morals yourself. Well, thats Bill all over. He's "easy."
Interesting his Facebook Page has a picture of the "School House Rock" Bill. In this jingle "Bill" sings "I hope and pray that I will but today I am still just a bill." Now explain to me why a man who attacks Christians would choose such a picture to represent his "too ugly for a camera to produce" face. You don't pray Bill, you just prey on Christians.

The Bible before Solstice
Happy Solstice (if that's what you're into). The goddess Uzza gives us this reminder of all that's come before.

The search engine gave me back millions of hits;
molesters, and con men, and other such shits.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but hundreds of gods from the earliest year.

With a little old edit, the story of Horus
I knew in a moment it must be the sou-rce.
More numerous than seagulls, gods and goddesses came,
and I whistled, and marveled, and called out their name;

Osiris! Adonis! Dionysus! Mithra!
There's Attis and Ishtar! And Baldr and Krishna!
To the land of the dead! Down to hell they all went,
to the underworld, after their lives were all spent.

Like fertility symbols these gods they all die,
and then get resurrected, back up in the sky.
So back up to heaven these deities flew,
to start new religions, and Jesus did too.

He's a crazy old preacher, who just seems kind of silly
though I had to admit that his book was a dilly,
that tried hard to steal those old stories by stealth,
and I laughed when I read it, in spite of myself.
A shift of my eyes and a twist of my head,
to the headlines, told me I had nothing to dread:
all the Pope's rules have been shown not to work,
evangelicals picket, and act like a jerk;

They cry “war on Christmas” and make silly fusses,
when we put up billboards, or signs on our buses.
But to all the fanatics I give this epistle,
away from your church people fly like a missile,
And I have to exclaim, on this solsticey night,
that millions of us, without gods, are alright.

SAUK COUNTY AND WHAT HAS COME TO PASS...

I’ve just spent the last two full days working to bring Christ to those whose lives are just a mess here in Wisconsin. If Michigan is a train wreck then Wisconsin is on the same track. Liberals have spent us into astounding debt. Why is it Obama gets to say “Bush left me with…" And Scott Walker can’t say “Doyle left this mess.”?

I went with Tom Stamman, seen here, and Impact Ministries International (IMI) into the poorest of Wisconsin’s 72 counties.

Let me say without pause: Tom Stamman is a God-filled amazing Prophet. And yes, he is very much a prophet. I could only hope to walk at his side and I am forever greatful for the experience we shared these last two days.

Sauk county is where the famous “Wisconsin Dells” is located. Huge water parks, towering hotels, restaurants by the hundreds all line the streets of this area.

The owners of these parks and places all live elsewhere.

And that’s just where the money goes too: Elsewhere.

The people here work hard but there is no work. Winter is hard on the Dells area and the jobs dry up for eight months a year. Most homes are for sale or abandoned. We brought a positive message of grace and healing and God’s undying love, and for a time, things were better. But I know, now that I am back home, things will only change when people are given the power to change them. It’s easier to run a marathon than start a business in WI. right now. The restrictions and fees and taxes and permits and regulations have made starting a business too expensive for the banks to loan. Oh the banks have the money, lots and lots of money to go around, but no one is about to step out of their fear and apply for money and banks are not ready to lend. What Doyle did was remarkably criminal. And to look out past that and see what democrats in Washington have done with my son’s future makes me angry. Yet even in the small town of La Vell, there were union picket lines on main street in town. When I confronted them and asked them how this budget of Walkers will affect them personally, they gave only vague references to lower income as comebacks. Wretched. So filtered from the recession by their endless sick days, vacation days, personal days, holidays and snow days, they have no idea what the rest of us are enduring. On the second day, Tom Stamman and I confronted protesters near the library, where our meeting was, and across the street from the residence that hosted us. We made up posters to support Walker and stood in the cold across the street from the union people for more that two hours. Once they saw who we were and what our signs said, they called out the thugs and their group grew from five people to more than 30. But Tom and I persisted and we got more honks waves and calls of support than the union people did. My sign said “Unions are Parasites” on one side and “Unions – No! Latino’s Yes! on the other. That’s when the racial slurs started to come from across the street. I was accosted by a large union thug who got in my face and asked if I liked Mexicans. I said their work ethic and family values echoed my own, and therefore yes I did. He pushed me and questioned my patriotism. “Are you touching me? Are you pushing me?” I said loud enough for all to hear, and he pushed again. Tom came over and told him if he touched me again that I would have the right to defend myself.

He swore at me and stepped back.

I was ready for a fight. He apparently, was not. I was disappointed, but fine with that. After all I'd seen, I was ready to fight for these poor folks.

We fed good food to good people. We gave them a message of grace and faith and a promise to return in May. To my new friends in Sauk County, God’s peace and my prayers remain with you. To the union thug, I gave a piñata. No candy inside.

My perspective has changed. My priciples have not. I want to have a chat about one such liberal who is no stranger to these pages but is no less complicit in the plot to break America in my next post

POLICE FIND LIVE AMMO OUTSIDE WISCONSIN CAPITAL BUILDING

Here in this artical, we see just how liberals make there point, or should I say "hollow point." as in the dozens of rounds of ammo found around the capital building since protesters were dispersed.

In the artical, it says, "Police made a disturbing discovery today outside the Wisconsin state Capitol Building -- dozens of rounds of live ammunition.

The building has been the scene of angry protests by thousands of people over Governor Scott Walker's proposal to curb the collective bargaining rights of state workers.

Deputies found eleven rounds at one entrance to the building, 29 rounds at another, and a single bullet was discovered at a third entrance.

President Obama's Intervention in Wisconsin Violates Constitutional Obligations, Abuses Office

President Obama's intervention in the dispute between Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker and public employee unions violates his constitutional obligations to ensure representative democracy in each of the several states and abuses special privileges he enjoys as President.

Across the country governors and state legislatures are grappling with tough budget deficits made worse by union contracts that guarantee workers more generous retirement and health care benefits than enjoyed by their private sector counterparts.

Governor Walker faces a $3.6 billion dollar shortfall over the biennium beginning July 1. He is seeking legislation requiring state workers, who currently contribute little or nothing to pensions, to kick in 5.8 percent of wages, and to pay 12.6 percent of the cost of health insurance. In return, he promises no layoffs-compared to private sector workers, those are great terms.
The rub-he wants to curtail, but not eliminate, collective bargaining by state workers, and require their unions to submit to annual recertification elections. Notably, many states limit or deny state workers collective bargaining rights.

Democratic state senators in the minority have fled the state to deny the upper chamber a quorum and shut down the legislative branch of government.

President Obama, through his private political organization and the Democratic National Committee, has helped mobilize a massive influx of outside demonstrators in Madison, supporting the shut down and frustrating the outcome of the November election, which brought Governor Brown and Republican majorities to power.

Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution, states "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government..." By supporting and facilitating outside agitators in Wisconsin to extend the shutdown of the legislature, the President is failing in his constitutional obligation to ensure that voters can effect laws through the ballot box.
It is important to recognize the President is not intervening via federal authority to enforce a U.S. law or civil rights, but rather using the prestige of the presidency and personal resources to disrupt in the deliberations and lawmaking functions of a state legislature-acting within its state and federal constitutional authority-and indeed encouraging the shutdown of constitutional government in that state.

In the private sector, unions represent less than 8 percent of workers, because an increasingly well educated and professional labor force does not find them relevant, as did less educated industrial workers who dominated the non-agricultural labor force in the decades after World War Two.

Public sector unions enjoy a superior relevance to their members. If a private union negotiates wages and benefits that make its employer uncompetitive, the business fails and workers lose their benefits. Government workers and their employers face no similar competitive restraints, and often organize politically to ensure their bosses-governors and legislators-are pro-union.
Now in Wisconsin and several other states, voters have chosen governments that would rebalance the relationship between public employers and organized labor. The reforms proffered by Governor Walker are not as radical as laws denying collective bargaining, for example, in Virginia and several other states.

Under U.S. law, the scope of public sector workers' right to collective bargaining is the legitimate province of state legislatures, and the intercession of the President of the United States into the lawmaking functions of a state legislature is an illegitimate use of federal executive power.

Presidents enjoy a peculiar status in U.S. law. Federal courts are disinclined to adjudicate the acts of sitting presidents, fusing their private and official personality under the law.

President Clinton only faced the genuine litigation-both criminal and civil-from Special Prosecutor Ken Starr and other plaintiffs after his term in office was concluded. Mr. Starr likely concluded that short of high crimes and misdemeanors, which are the exclusive province of the House and Senate, Presidents, as heads of state, can't be indicted.

President Obama by acting through his private political machine is abusing his special status. He is providing resources to aid and abet the shutdown of constitutional government in Wisconsin.

Finding the culprit they tell me is difficult but not at all impossible. I’m going to wear it like a badge of honor. This blog received over 790 hits during the first two weeks of Wisconsin’s battle to win back its state from tyrannical union rule. Suddenly I became the target of a hacker’s wrath, who did not simply take the blog down, oh no, they had to come with malice. Not sure what their motivation was to claim I had passed on. We may never know. Well Mr. Hack-blog I’m here to tell you you’re forgiven. I’ve decided to let you have your fun this once. I’m flattered you thought I was important enough to take out, but I don’t go easy.

To all those who sent their well wishes to my family and friends, I was deeply touched. Thank you. A special thanks to my wonderful friend Teresa who got the word out for me that I was in La Cross WI. at a Worship Leaders Conference. Imagine my surprise seeing that on my blog. Teresa placed a touching statement and video on her blog to honor my “passing” and then quickly did a one-eighty and told all our friends I was safe and sound. What you did was so nice Teresa. Thank you. How great it is to have friends such as these. For you who sent along their sympathies, I thank you, but they are a bit premature. Meet the GOP's Newest Rising Star

Presidential hopefuls already clamoring to grab a piece of his coattails

A head-on collision with the labor movement has turned the rookie Republican governor of a Midwestern state into an overnight superstar.

Barely a month after his inauguration, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker already has prospective presidential candidates stampeding to help him. In today's turbocharged political climate, fueled by constant chatter on cable television and the Internet, can talk of a vice presidential bid be far behind for the man who two months ago was a little-known county executive?

“If you had suggested that about Scott Walker 10 days [ago] it would have seemed incomprehensible,’’ Byron Shafer, political science professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, told National Journal. “Stay tuned and ask me again in another 10 days."

Walker was the lead guest on Fox News Sunday; on Monday, MSNBC boasted of a “cable exclusive’’ with him. He's become one of the most sought-after politicians in the country ever since his plan to balance Wisconsin's budget by slashing labor costs sparked days of protests by tens of thousands of union workers in the state capitol.

Likely presidential candidates from Rick Santorum to Tim Pawlenty to Mitt Romney have clamored to offer support. Organized labor is a favorite target of the right, making Walker's fight a popular rallying point. Not to mention that budget balancing has become sacred political ground for the Republican Party.

Enhancing Walker's potential as a kingmaker: His state's potentially pivotal role in 2012. Wisconsin hasn’t voted for a Republican presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan in 1984, but close elections in 2000 and 2004 have made it a battleground state.

Walker has an opportunity to capitalize on his new national platform at the National Governors Association’s upcoming annual winter meeting, which starts Saturday in Washington. Walker’s staff, which has been fielding about 80 requests a day from the national media, said he has not decided yet whether to attend.

“He’s made it pretty clear that he’s focused on balancing the budget, and that’s all,’’ said spokesman Cullen Werwie.

Shafer said it’s too soon to know how Walker will stack up next to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was elected in 2009 and whose own bold austerity moves had made him the hottest Republican governor on the national stage -- at least until last week. Nor is it easy to predict the long-term career implications of the painful cuts both governors say they have to make.

“Gov. Walker has got a big set of policy problems,’’ Shafer said. “It’s hard to know how anyone comes out of this without looking bloodied.’’

In todays Wall Street Journal we read that Paul Ryan has been waiting for Obama to engage in what the President called "Aggressive" negotiations in the budget battle. The problem is, Obama is not being honest or forthcoming to the committees charged with decision making. He's not even talking to them.

If an outsider were to watch you for say two weeks or so and came back with an unbiased report on his observations, it would be a forgone conclusion Barack Obama has little or no work ethic and is completely resigned to not doing what he says he will do…AKA a liar.

Eight vacations in 24 months? Having business people meet for discussions at the White House and never hearing any outcome of these meetings.

There is a huge stink being raised here in Wisconsin. The New Governor Scott Walker’s proposal to make public employees pay something…anything…for their own retirement and to end collective bargaining with the unions that work for the state is upsetting the milk cart. For you out of state people who think this may not be worth your time, ask yourself if your state is fiscally sound, and if it’s not, you’re passing by a chance to see your future.

I believe what Scott Walker is proposing is sound fiscal judgment and makes good civic sense. This may be a very blue state but it’s not nearly as unionized as our neighbor to the south, Illinois. You’d think with Wisconsin’s’ blue collar reputation we would be strongly unionized. That’s not the case. In 2010, the percent of union members dipped to 15.1 percent from the previous year's 15.2 percent. It was a decline of 30,000 workers from one year to the next.
But don’t listen to me. If you work in Wisconsin, and you have not one, but two members of the extreeeeeemly liberal Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Editorial Board speaking out in favor of a Republican Governor’s proposal for union members to pay a small percentage to their retirement and end collective bargaining, you know Wisconsin’s financial house has got to be in a world of hurt. If MJS says giving more power to back to the taxpayer and backs that plan made by a Republican, it would seem something must give.
Walker has said removing public unions' collective bargaining rights is necessary to help plug a budget deficit projected to be $3.6 billion by mid-2013. Without the concessions, he says 1,500 state workers could be laid off over the next four months to deal with an immediate $137 million shortfall.
Records show taxpayers:
• Spent $8 billion from 2001 to 2010 on state employee health care coverage, while those employees contributed $398 million.

• Spent about $12.6 billion on public employee pensions while the employees contributed $55.4 million.

• Paid nearly all of the employee portion of the public sector pension contributions.

State employees make up 60% of all taxpayer costs to operate the state. In the UW system, a whopping 77% of operations are dedicated to employee costs. It’s 70% Corrections and 63% for Health Services.

Fringe benefits for teachers ALONE made up 25.6%. That’s not pay. That’s just TEACHERS!!

That sound fair to you?

THEN YOU GET STUFF LIKE THIS....

And now we have a large number of union employees who are inflating their workloads just prior to retirement to inflate their benefit payout.

We can’t do that out here in scab land folks.

What lawmakers, Republican and Democrat must ask themselves is: Are the unions taking a fair hit with regard to the hits the privet sector has been burdened with the last five years?

All signs point to yes.

The fact is, they bussed in STUDENTS to protest, many of whom did not know why they were there.

These lawmakers need to remember the voters who just sent them there, and do the right thing. Those union members chanting in the rotunda today in Madison need to feel what we conservatives have had to swallow for over a decade and taxpayers here in Wisconsin have had to deal with for longer than we care to say.

Now here is the kicker. My wife is in this union.

We stand to lose a lot because of these actions in Madison.

She’s mad and says it’s wrong.

I’m firm and say it’s time.

This is where the rubber meets the road guys.

If I am principled, the fact it affects me should not matter.

The only ones who feel they are being treated unfair are the unions.
We have no choice anymore. I can't help it if it affects me and my family directly. There's a reason it affects me. The status quo is unsustainable. Spending must be curtailed and perks pruned. Just because it hurts my family, does not make it wrong.

Those of you in the union with sob stories; spare us: The privet sector has your stories blown away.

Ask anyone how they have been hit by this recession. Then ask a public employee. Huge discrepancy. That’s why there’s such low tolerance for this. And there is evidence out there WEAC is misleading its members saying they will take a 20% pay cut. It’s patently false.

And the fact of the matter is non-union employees working right along side union employees have had to take huge cuts in both pay and benefits. What makes Unions immune and why do they feel they should be?

My wife is the greatest gift I have ever received.

I love her with all my heart.

God is with us and we are faithful.

We were made for such a time as this.

We must be patient and wait upon God.

Not to worry!! Enter Joe Biden, he of "BFD" fame, to straighten things out. Announcing a spectacular oversized new $53 billion rail system for the north east, Joe the Gaffer used the phrase "Seize The Future." This time, the unfortunate acronym is STFU. Of course, that's what Obama has been trying to tell Biden since day one.

And so quietly, almost off-handedly, the Rubicon has been crossed. The United States of America, whose blood and treasure have been spilled fighting terrorism, is jumping into bed with radical Islamists.

By approving a role for the Muslim Brotherhood in a new Egyptian government, the White House is taking its engagement policy to a dangerous level. American taxpayer dollars will now help sustain the oldest Islamist group, one that helped launch Osama bin Laden on his murderous quest.

Perhaps this day was inevitable for an administration that refuses to say "Islamic terrorists," and claims "jihad" can be a good thing and Hezbollah has "moderate" elements.

But it is hardly inevitable that the Kumbaya approach will bring peace to the Middle East. More likely, it will be seen as Western weakness and beget even more violence against America and our allies.

The decision applies to Egypt, but it won't stay in Egypt. Nearly every Arab government is fighting radical groups that aim to eliminate our presence, Israel and Western-friendly leaders. Imagine what those leaders think about our willingness to endorse the Muslim Brotherhood, which helped spawn Hamas and similar groups.

We have pulled the rug out from under our allies. They have staked their lives and countries on our commitment to battle terrorists, and now we appear ready to make a deal that will put pressure on them to do the same.

Yes, I know, the Muslim Brotherhood insists it is no longer a radical group and doesn't advocate violence. But what they say is not what they do. Days after a leader of the group said Egyptians "should be prepared for war against Israel" and urged the country to stop sending natural gas to Israel, attackers blew up a gas pipeline to Jordan. The one to Israel immediately was shut down.

Not exactly the start of

a beautiful relationship.

But perfectly predictable.

Obama's State of the Union: Plagiarism

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, what can be said of plagiarism? President Obama’s second State of the Union address contained enough recycled ideas and lines lifted from speeches of others to make historians wince. I suppose this is what one does when one not only has nothing new to say, but is required by custom and Constitution to come forth with a report of some kind by a certain time and day.

Had Obama or his writers been considerate enough to have informed listeners of where some of the president’s best lines and offered-up ideas originated, the speech might be remembered for its cutting and pasting of great and not-so-great moments of the past performance of others. After quoting Robert Kennedy early on, Obama tried to have his listeners believe that everything else he said that we might remember were his or his writers’ creations. Had the president submitted the text of his second State of the Union Address in the form of a college term paper, he would have been sent forthwith to the nearest academic dean. Once again, our public affairs are such that we have one standard for presidents and another for undergraduates. Now is as good a time as any to let Obama’s listeners in on what the late Paul Harvey would have termed “the rest of the story.” [Take the poll: Was Obama’s State of the Union speech a success?]

Early in his address, Obama said that he wanted the nation he leads to be a "light to the world." The last president who set such a mission for the nation he led, and in those exact words, was Woodrow Wilson.

Obama’s concept of the “American family” may well have had its origins in the first State of the State address New York Governor Mario Cuomo delivered in 1983. Cuomo proclaimed the state of New York as a “family.” He also talked about multiple partnerships, both public and private.

In an address to the Heritage Foundation in the early 1990s, Margaret Thatcher delivered what might go down as the most memorable line in Obama’s second State of the Union address. The British Prime Minister told her American audience that the United States was the “first nation to have been founded on an idea.” It took the president a few additional words to get this idea across.

Obama’s pointed mutterings about a second “Sputnik Moment” being upon us and his recollection of how American policymakers responded to the last one with increased expenditures on infrastructure, science, technology, and education were clearly intended to evoke the spirit of Dwight D. Eisenhower. His setting of specific deadlines and goals was vintage JFK, but for the absence of any sense of challenge to his audience, list of benefits the United States would derive from them, or any semblance of a shared adventure the American people were about to embark upon. There was a certain Back to the Future feel to the masterful tributes Obama paid those Ronald Reagan might have described as “ordinary heroes.” After all, it was Reagan who began the practice of inviting citizens who had done extraordinary things to sit beside the first lady in the House gallery as the president recited their achievements. It was also Reagan who reminded his listeners that the greatness of America emerged not from the hand of government, but through the entrepreneurial spirit of the American people. Obama received his most sustained applause when he said, "I know there isn’t a person here who would trade places with any other nation on Earth." Leaving aside the faulty grammar (people change places with people, not with nations), the poaching from John F. Kennedy's immortal inaugural address was obvious enough for the most historical of Obama's listeners to notice. ("I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation.") That Obama could utter almost identical words days after paying tribute to Kennedy on the 50th anniversary of the delivery of that famous speech and not making reference to it suggests a self-absorption rare even among presidents. Most pointedly, the low point of Obama’s speech came when he brought back government re-organization from the ash heap of failed efforts of previous presidents who sought to save money without inflicting pain on a public that had grown accustomed to government largesse. This one, like all that talk about all those green energy jobs that lay before us, had fallen out of the presidential repertoire with retirement of Jimmy Carter. Obama might have had the decency to have Carter on hand to witness the moment. He will have another chance should he, when he delivers his budget, bring back that other Carter flop from yesteryear, “zero based budgeting.” [See a slide show of 10 worst presidents.]

Even Obama’s feigned attempt at humor had an antecedent in the remarks of a predecessor who spun better yarns than this president. Obama informed his listeners that salmon comes under the jurisdiction of one department when swimming in fresh water and under another when swimming in salt water. He rhetorically inquired what happened to the fish when “smoked.”
Somewhere in the White House library resides a published letter Franklin Roosevelt wrote to an adviser in which he complained that some bears were the property of the Interior Department, while others belonged the National Parks System. FDR, tongue in cheek, warned of a pending custody battle over cubs that emerged from illicit unions of bears crossing departmental jurisdictions.
It would appear that the only president of note whose imprint was absent in Obama’s long awaited and much-anticipated speech was Obama. This was supposed to have been the moment when the nation found out whether he was at the core a Rooseveltian liberal of a Clintonian centrist. What it got was a cut and pasted version of great and not-so-great State of the Union and other addresses of the past.

Sometime last year, many suggested that Obama would have an easier time getting his message across if he was less dependent on his teleprompter. This may be the year his writers are advised to throw away their books of political quotations. Then we may finally find out what the president truly believes and what he hopes to achieve in the office he so ardently sought.

I just cannot recall anyone being so anointed with power and promise falling so hard so fast. One could list the bogus bows, Olympic losses and epic mid-term election meltdowns, but there is no need: The ambush at Solder Field Sunday is illustration enough why they call it:

“The Second City.”

Second best means "thanks for playing." Or the always comforting: “You’re the Alternate!”

Obama just cannot seem to manufacture a win right now. You know why? Look at the city he came from the day after losing the biggest game in the history of a storied franchise. There they are, in assorted bars across the city and state, burning Jay Cutler’s jersey today for his lack of effort after being sidelined with a knee injury. Let me fix this for you bear fans right now: Your team’s lack of continuity (three offensive coordinators in three years) is the issue here. No one will buy into what you’re coaching if you have to change it every year, and even during the year. They looked confused. They were reacting instead of enforcing their will on Green Bay. In short they were impotent because no one, not even the coaches, believed in their plan.

I love a good football metaphor as much as anyone. This one’s just too easy.

Now, I have to lay it all down here. My favorite blogger (male or female) hails from Pittsburg. Ms. Rice is not a fan of football, but she cannot ignore it now. As our teams plan their mutual destruction in two weeks, Teresa and I will have to work our some sort of wager. This will be in fun, but I assure you, your team had best bring it all to Dallas girl. Ugly as it was, the Packers finished their regular season Sunday by putting a hurt on the Windy City’s latest excuse for an NFL team. Jay “Million dollar arm and ten cent brain” Cutler could not answer the Pack’s defense with anything but a first half field goal.

So, if you want to keep bears out of your backyard, put up a goal post.

No one could foresee the Packers needing to place 14 players to injured reserve by the first of November. With eight weeks of football left, the Packers had lost no less than eight starters. In fact they lost three players for the year on one single play: A kickoff no less. It looked like a disaster. Coach Mick McCarthy never once used inured players for an excuse for losing. Dom Capers had to fill one linebacker spot with 9 different men. Coach Capers now qualifies to do anything with nothing. If Coach Capers is not a head coach somewhere next fall, the Packers will have pulled off a vital coup. Without this defense, the Packers would have been inept.

What a year!

Lots of things have come to pass, the greatest of which is the end of the 111th congress. With all the power they ever wanted democrats could do nothing but add to defects and the angst of freedom loving Americans. Millions who laid there votes on the first term senator from Illinois watch as the man they called “Messiah” crashed and burned. (Ok, he had a good December) This was a train wreck of biblical proportions. He had both houses, The White House and placed two “Judges” on the Supreme Court. So the whole first year he spends every penny of political capital on bailouts for those who got him the big desk, and feeding the entitled masses in coastal blue states. Tarp, Omnibus, Porkulus, and many more massively earmarked bills followed. When it came time for Obamacare, he had spent it all. Oh to be sure he got his bill, but only by ramming it down the throats of every petrified American who worried someone would tell Obama what comes after “Trillion.”
This law should be called Demo-care: Only Democrats voted for it, and a Democrat signed it, so lets let them have it!!
I believe the pendulum had to swing back hard. The liberals pushed their socialist agenda on a country to smart to play along. The scrap heap of history, filled with commie kook ideas, was no place Americans wanted the country they loved. The question now, who will rise up to meet the challenge of an electrified electorate unfazed by empty promises.

Now you do what we say or you get sent home to stay.

So as the year ends, our challenge is clear. The best thing for me is the ending of the visits from Diorreah and Bill Minnich, both of whom have faded into vapor even before absentee ballots were handed out for Novembers romp. As pleasant as constipation, I believe we have heard the last of these two fringe ~~fag~~ friends.
Go out there and make it a good year. Anything short of that lacks effort and choice. This may be my last year here, (doctors can be wrong too) and I intend to make the right moves each and every day so that in my life, God is glorified and people are dignified.

If you really believe life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it, you’d be wrong. With preparation and active engagement, you will be the one keeping people guessing. You can control the action enough to sway the balance in your favor, but effort and preparation are paramount.

That’s what I will be. I choose life without boundaries.
I will not be called a bigot or ridged simply because I will not move from my Gospel principles.
I will move conservatively forward, always taking just a moment to look back at what has worked and not worked in the past, so to avoid misguided mistakes. And so should you! Stick around. Let’s talk and be a voice for the conservative movement and keep the momentum moving right.

Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body scanners at the airports:

All we need to do is develop a booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have hidden on or in your body. The explosion will be contained within the sealed booth.
This would be a win-win for everyone. There would be none of this crap about racial profiling and the device would eliminate long and expensive trials.
This is so simple that it's brilliant.

On Feb 19th 2009 I purchased a new Asus Computer from Best Buy. I purchased a 1 year warranty as well.

On October 19th 2010 that computers mother board failed after sitting next to my desk for the entire time I owned it.
It was a six hundred dollar computer.
Best Buy wants $595.92 to fix it though I am still paying Best Buy every month for it because they said if I finance it, I would get a better deal and join their frequent buyers club.
Bottom Line: Don’t think for one moment Best Buy is your Best Buy-dea. That place should be gone “Buy” next Christmas if that’s how they treat their customers.

I hope this post finds you all healthy and, hopefully, working. It’s time for a rant. I’ve been away too long not to come back and give you all what you come here for, which is my perspective. So, since you asked…

THE ELECTION: No time to gloat really. We all knew what was going to happen, we just had to wait and do our civic duty. So far, what I hear is really good. If they stay on the focus that Washington has a spending problem and not a revenue or tax problem, as has been stated, we are taking a big step in the right direction. The layers of redundancy in many social programs have one agency saying another is the one that will help you and they just push you around and around. No one seems to have or employ common sense. If we really want to save money, we need to stop having five agencies for one purpose.

We need term limits and we need to stop generational theft. Just paying the interest on the debt is a huge burden on the people. I’ve heard the figure $43,000 is what every man woman and child owes. If that’s true, that’s just nuts.

The fact is a President with half a brain would see this and do what is right: Stop spending. This one won’t. His intent is unclear. But any realistic approach would include spending cuts and the elimination of redundant entities within the government. This is how the right must now hold the high ground and continue on offence rather then listen to the left’s responses, which are rife with lies the press repeats. Stay on the principles the people you represent dictate. Turn a deaf ear to them and you’re through.

FOOTBALL:

My son played organized football for the first time this fall. Because he made the commitment, I told him I would coach. I asked my pastor, Kurt, to help me coach and he said he would. He ran the offence and I ran defense and Special Teams. Well, two weeks ago we played our last game, winning all six games we played. We scored 142 points and our defense allowed only 25 points in those six games. To my great friend and Sheppard Kurt, and all those sixth graders, Jack, Alex one and Alex two, Josh, Bryce, Carm, Riley, Andy, Walker (the Animal) Myles, and my son, thank you for the greatest season I have ever been happy to share. You kids are going to be great. Keep up the grades and never let anyone tell you your dreams are too big or your God is too small. I will never forget what you guys did for me. God’s Blessing on you all!

Hey hey how about dem Packers? We dump Harris, we have 8 men on injured reserve (IR) and Head Coach just placed an order for 7 more hot tubs. We have 6 wins and three losses and are tied with Da Bears for top spot in the North Division. Though we did not win and loose the games the way I’d predicted, as luck would have it I had them 6 & 3 at the bye week. Coach Mike’s teams have always been slow starters because of the sophistication of the offense. The depth of this team is amazing and fortuitous.

I’m amazed that there are some in this country who think we should turn our back on what was and make a new start. I have to apologize for my absence. I have taken on a few projects which have required my full attention. I have learned that if you do things right, pay close attention to details and have a work ethic that is inexorable, you become very popular with like minded people. And people like that are afforded great respect and authority.

So what I have been doing is helping a candidate here in Wisconsin get elected. He will win. He will be governor of Wisconsin without question. I made a direct choice to get involved with the Republican Revolution in order to facilitate my future interests. There may be work for me under our new governor. He and I attended high school together with him being one year older than I am.

You don’t need me to tell you how bad things have become for democrats. You don’t need me to tell you governorships are very important in this revolution, even more that senate or house elections. I wish I could share with you what I am doing, what I know and give you specifics, but I have been sworn to secrecy.

Is there anyone here as bad at forecasting as I am? I hate to even mention how good my predictions have been the last three years: Don’t want to jinks myself. Most times I predict and then the opposit happens. But lately, I'm not bad.

When you talk about professional football around these parts (south eastern Wisconsin) the line between Bear and Packer territory blurs because of simple proximity to each other, there are teams and there are legends. Jay Cutler is running for his life and may be the only one really grasping the offence right now. Lovie will be gone by Halloween.

“The Problem” is north and west of Lambeau. Number four no longer worries me, he annoys me. You see, from my perspective, here in Wisconsin, especially Green Bay, we hold loyalty higher than most anything you can name minus The Trinity. “The Problem” is, he forgot his loyalties on the way to drama camp. The name Favre will forever be synonymous with “Indian Giver” and “Back Stabber.” You don’t come back to the north division after being out in New York one year because of the weather.

Well here I am, some two weeks plus from my last post. So I have a little explanation, some observations, and hope you’ll all forgive me for being selfish and staying away so long.

First, for you working warriors out there, an honest question: Do you feel a “change” in your employers’ attitude towards you? Have expectations been altered?

From this guys hole in the fence I can assure you: You are not alone.

I’m going on two years now without a raise while my performance reviews continue to score in the 95 percentile. My job requires me to work different times on any given day. Enthusiastic flexibility is required. I just have caught this feeling in the wind that things are not looking good for small business and the trickle-down effect has been potent.

ImanObama continues to vacation (sixth time in just over 7 months) just to get away from the drumbeat of an angry and anti-government electorate. My last vacation was in March of 1987. Democrats can’t run from the President fast enough.

I praise God for Obama. He has single handedly awakened a hypnotized public from a costly sleep. He has shown America elections have consequences. These consequences were foreseeable, but the press failed to tell us who this man really was and McCain’s futile attempts to knock him down or even lay a glove on him makes him an accomplice.

I let not my heart be troubled because I see the last combat troupes left Iraq. These women and men who have endured in the most inhospitable of places fighting for freedom now know liberties’ price. They’re experiences change the game and the course of this countries future. They have my undying respect. Their families have my prayers. I hope they see the time they were apart was time well spent. They changed a shackled country into a fledgling democracy. Fragile as it is, it only takes a spark to get a roaring fire.

The CD project continues. We are close to mastering the disc.

A quick check around my friends and adversaries sites shows me the left has so little to talk about that’s positive, some seem almost suicidal. What they are doing is changing the template and the outrage and anger Americans now have will not allow them set that premise. What they do best is talk. If they’d shut up and listen they could save their butts.

Just when does this economy become this administrations problem and when are they expected to do something about it? The answer to both questions appears to be, "Not yet."

Six vacations in 8 months? My last vacation was in March of 1987. All these bills and laws that have passed, none of them were written by Obama. So just what is it he needs a break from? Maybe the better question is, “When do we get our break from this administration?”

Is NASA really the best tool to promote good relations with the Muslim world? In order to get a person to get terrorists to stop killing us, I guess it helps to be a rocket scientist.

I’m truly puzzled. I’m puzzled by the press and their silence on issues paramount in every ones mind. I may be the last man on the boat with this issue and if I seem redundant or obvious, I’m sorry, but that is the very reason I feel something needs to be said again. These people who call themselves journalists seem to lack the obligatory passion for truth. They as well as the rest of us are the protectors of liberty, but they even more so for they are the mouthpiece of America. There are durable reasons why people have been driven away from the network news programs. Those who curse and taunt people who watch Fox News are rebels without a clue: They get their news from a left leaning press and loony kook fringe news sites to serve their agenda against the right. But if you ask the basic question: Why have so many turned to Fox and away from CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC, The simplicity of the answer infuriates the left causing them to be defensive. It is that very attitude that manifests itself in their telling of the news. They had no problem calling president number 43 a liar, war criminal or comparing him to Hitler. We were invited and encouraged to speak out against our leaders.

Not so much now.

Doing so now makes you racist.
Saying no now means you’re standing in the way of progress.

Who’s progress? Excuse me for being contrary but I don’t see me or my family making much of any “progress” at all.

I see a lot of people who are friends of the left making progress.

I see a woman about to become Supreme Court Justice and she has never sat on the bench. The press must think that’s ok because I’ve heard hardly a word about her “experience”

It wasn’t ok five years ago though for Harriet Mires: A vastly more qualified candidate.

Silence from the press on the important issues such as a Supreme Court Justice speaks volumes. Their silence speaks not of bias, for that is merely a symptom. It speaks of slothful and irresponsible countenance of the loss of so much liberty so swiftly. I don’t watch network news because its bias, I choose Fox News because of its hunger for truth and creative investigative reporting. Those speaking against it are simply supporting laziness and a left agenda, which is redundant, sorry.

WHITEFISH BAY .... A WAR STORY...

Today I ended a two week period in which I had one day off. (Sunday) I have had no time to asses the damage from the July 29th storm which destroyed our two room tree-house in the woods we own, as well as snapping a second mighty oak tree in half nearby. In two weeks I have slept ony 47 hours. My time has been in Whitefish Bay north of Milwaukee helping thousands of people whose homes were flooded in storms the prior week. My company lost fifteen hundred dollars when a home we were drying re-flooded. This month will be looked back at as a time when war stories were burned into my memory. I have seen natures’ wrath up close once again. Tomorrow I will scout the property for more damage which may be lurking in damaged trees ready to fall etc. The opportunities to witness have been extraordinary. I have seen a side of people no one wants to see: deep multiple losses and their homes, uninhabitable. Family treasures at the curb, being taken by garbage collectors and the collectors of garbage. I can’t remember praying more than I have the last two weeks. It has been profound.

This is a note to explain to my friends here in blogland what will be happening soon. The blog entries will be fewer over the next few weeks as I focus most of my discretionary time to the release of my new 16 song CD. This is a project which I have worked on for 5 years. I play all the instruments and do the majority of the vocal work. My wife, my brother Jeff and members of my old band, Saved By Grace, also helped and I am thankful for their hard work. This will be my third CD but my first solo work.The CD is the first of three: A trilogy of songs I wrote long ago mixed with new songs written with my new band. The band is nearly ready to perform and our first concert is this week, playing at Delavan’s new Band Shell in Phoenix Park. I lived in Delavan over 25 years attending all the schools in that city as a child. (I would say I grew up there but that hasn’t happened yet) From the response I have witnessed, this should be a very fun evening. While defending his own policies President Obama has routinely been rude and sarcastic to his predecessor, George W. Bush. Yet Obama appears to be making the resident of the previous White House look like a genius compared to his own serious missteps in office.
Case in point – Interior Secretary Ken Salazar's performance and the communication of priorities on the issue of oil rig safety in the Gulf of Mexico. It seems incomprehensible that the president and other members of the administration still have jobs when it is now being reported that the federal government was apprised by BP on February 13 that the Deepwater Horizon oil rig was leaking oil and natural gas into the ocean floor.
In fact, according to documents in the administration's possession, BP was fighting large cracks at the base of the well for roughly ten days in early February.

Further it seems the administration was also informed about this development, six weeks before to the rig's fatal explosion when an engineer from the University of California, Berkeley, announced to the world a near miss of an explosion on the rig by stating, "They damn near blew up the rig."

It's also now being reported that BP was asking for the administration's help on this matter long before the deadly accident and the now gushing well of tar.

Which leads me to some questions for the president. If I were in front row of reporters in the White House briefing room, here’s what I’d like to know:

1. It appears, Mr. President, that you were informed by BP about problems on Deepwater Horizon on February 13 and the company wanted your help. What did you say?

2. Given this new revelation, Mr. President, how can you can sleep at night knowing that your inaction cost the lives of eleven men in Louisiana?

3. Did you inform the victims' families about these facts when you invited them to the White House for last month's photo op?

4. You've said, Mr. President, time and again, that the buck stops with you. Doesn’t that statement seem like something bordering on propaganda when you follow it up with what appears to be a false sense of outrage by telling Matt Lauer that you're looking for rear ends to kick?

5. Does the buck stop with you… or not?

6. Are you going to insist that Mr. Salazar step down from his post in disgrace and shame?

7. Will you hold another prime time television press conference and tell the entire truth to the American people? -- These would be the actions of a man who says that the buck "stops" with him.

8. I know when this news was breaking midday on Saturday about the latest BP developments that you and the Vice President were out on the golf course. Was it 39th or 40th time you've played a round in 18 months? (Just for a point of reference President Bush played golf 24 times in eight years.) Never mind, your priorities are for you to decide. At least until election night...

And now here's where I would not be able to stop myself from saying more...

It is one thing, Mr. President, to be forced to deal with unexpected circumstances and to have to deal with genuinely new problems. President Bush sure had to. He had to respond to an attack on our homeland that took the lives of 3,000 of our fellow citizens. But on his watch no other terrorist actions took lives of Americans on our soil, largely due to his steadfast leadership and willingness to accept no excuses on the matter.
But Mr. President, you seem to have very little leadership experience and it appears you have even less skill. Being a good dad and nice guy who sees the world as he wishes it to be is not exactly a resume of exacting leadership.
Your advisers have failed you and you have failed the American people on nearly everything we've asked of you.
Where you go from here is really your call, but you should consider two options if you genuinely love the country you work for and those of us you report to.
First, change your tactics. Second, appear to care. Attempt to engage and empower Americans who can and will go solve this mess.
Otherwise resign. For the good of the nation, for your own children's future, change your patterns or change your path... but change!

OBAMA'S OVER THE TOP OVAL OFFICE ORATION

Obama can’t be so naive to not know the issues and the problems he faces are hurdles even the most preeminent politician would hard pressed to stop the crash course he is on. Now I don’t always agree with Peggy Noonan but she does make a great post-Oval Office speech point. Below are excerpts:

“The president is starting to look snakebit. He's starting to look unlucky, like Jimmy Carter. It wasn't Mr. Carter's fault that the American diplomats were taken hostage in Tehran, but he handled it badly, and suffered. Mr. Carter's opposite was Bill Clinton, on whom fortune smiled with eight years of relative peace and a worldwide economic boom. What misfortune Mr. Clinton experienced he mostly created himself. History didn't impose it. But Mr. Obama is starting to look unlucky, and–file this under Mysteries of Leadership–that is dangerous for him because Americans get nervous when they have a snakebit president. They want presidents on whom the sun shines.”

“The administration's failure to take impressive action after the spill dinged its reputation for competence. The president's failure to turn things around Tuesday night with a speech damaged his reputation as a man whose rhetorical powers are such that he can turn things around with a speech. He lessened his own mystique. Reaction among his usual supporters was, in the words of Time's Mark Halperin, "fierce, unforeseen disappointment." Dan Froomkin of the Huffington Post called the speech "profoundly underwhelming," a "feeble call to action." Former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich called the speech "vapid." Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times said the president looked "awkward and robotic." MSNBC's Keith Olbermann famously said "It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days." Chris Matthews scored "a lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk." Mr. Olbermann, on Mr. Obama's well-written peroration: "It's nice but, again, how? Where was the 'how' in this speech when the nation is crying out for 'how'?" The president said he had consulted among others "experts in academia" on what to do about the calamity. This while noting, again, that his energy secretary has a Nobel Prize. There is a growing meme that Mr. Obama is too impressed by credentialism, by the meritocracy, by those who hold forth in the faculty lounge, and too strongly identifies with them. He should be more impressed by those with real-world experience. It was the "small people" in the shrimp boats who laid the boom.

And when speaking of why proper precautions and safety measures were not in place, the president sternly declared, "I want to know why." But two months in he should know. And he should be telling us. Such empty sternness is . . . empty.”

Empty? Is that what I’m feeling? Is it what you’re feeling? Or are you from Colorado Springs just feeling…Gay?

When you speak from the Oval Office, words mean things. Not that they don’t all the time, they do, but when you say them there, you better have something to say. We don’t need nebulous “wispers of some fine fine day when we get there, and we’re not sure how, and we’re not sure why we don’t know when or how but if we just….” OMG SHUT UP!!!

This is the Oval Office you snake oil salesman. You want the job or not? You have two dozen states that are looking into adopting the Arizona Immigration law, you have 1/4 of the Gulf of Mexico fouled with oil, you have two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, you have Israel and Iran rattling sabers, you have Iran thumbing it’s nuclear nose at you and all you can do is use the Oval Office to push your green economic unproven and unreliable ideas on us that will raise energy costs for every American by no less than 30% and more like 50%.

You know, like it or not, we have to drill, and once and a while, someone spills. But when a spill this size happens, we need leadership. Getting knocked down happens, but should you decide to get up, you better ask yourself if that’s what you really want to do. Getting up means fighting on, and how you conduct yourself from the moment you get on your feet, is what matters most. We are close to 60 days now.

This spill does not mean “stop drilling” Mr. President. Yet you order the stopping of deep water drilling in the entire Gulf and expect bp to pay their salaries along with anything else that comes to mind. The idea that America only has a small percentage of the worlds oil supply is just stupid and to tell me this means you think I am stupid. Well you may be right, but I wasn’t stupid enough to vote for you, or any of your pie-in-the-sky promises you were making. Who really looks inept right now sir, is you. Governor Jindal was told by The President to call when things are not going well and he would help. The Governor called…repetedly and got nothing. You can't do what you say you will do.

Obama then lectured Americans about our consumption. "We consume more than 20 percent of the world's oil, but have less than 2 percent of the world's oil reserves," he complained." (That’s just a flat out lie. We are only allowed to get at what they say we can and right now, that isn’t much on land) “And that's just part of the reason oil companies are drilling a mile beneath the surface of the ocean -- because we're running out of places to drill on land and in shallow water." Of course, Obama's chutzpah conceals the real reason oil companies are drilling in deep water -- which is that government arbitrarily continues putting land and shallow water off limits.

Comedian Jay Leno may have summed it up best when he quipped, "President Obama announced [Tuesday] that he wants to use the oil spill to move America toward green energy. I have a crazy idea. Maybe he should use the oil spill crisis to fix the oil spill."

Meanwhile, BP has acquiesced to Democrat demands for a $20 billion political slush fund, er, escrow account to be used to compensate people and businesses harmed by the spill. The fund will be administered by Kenneth Feinberg, a lawyer who oversaw both the 9/11 victims' fund and executive pay limitations under TARP. Democrats are further insisting that the $75 million liability cap for oil spills (passed by the Democrat-controlled Congress in 1990) be raised and retroactively applied to the company. Apparently, it doesn't matter that BP had already stated its intention to pay more than $75 million if necessary.

Obama declared that this is the best way to make the victims whole -- "We will make BP pay," he said -- but let's not forget that he has also ordered a six-month moratorium on drilling, to the outrage of politicians on both sides of the aisle and to the detriment of those working in the industry. Our fearless leader is hoping no one notices that he's giving Gulf residents money with one hand, while further crippling their economy with the other. To be sure, BP should be liable for the spill, as should Transocean and Halliburton, which were involved with the rig and the well. But as columnist Steve Chapman put it, "A villain as hated -- and justifiably hated -- as BP creates a temptation to indulge in excess, and Obama is not inclined to resist."

All of this notwithstanding, we should note that blaming Obama for not plugging the spill isn't entirely legitimate. However, he is certainly to blame for his initial dithering; for his overreach, which has exacerbated the disaster and could lead to similar accidents in the future; and for his pursuit of job-crushing energy policy (e.g., drilling moratoriums, cap-n-trade), which will further stifle a struggling economy.

Bureaucratic red tape has hampered cleanup by delaying oil burn-off and the use of dispersants because of environmental concerns (never mind the 60,000 barrels of oil a day gushing into the Gulf). The administration also waved off foreign assistance because of the ill-conceived 1920 Jones Act, which mandates U.S. union labor for particular jobs. Permit delays slowed the construction of barrier islands off the Louisiana coast, though that didn't stop Obama from bragging, "We've approved the construction of new barrier islands in Louisiana to try to stop the oil before it reaches the shore."

To add insult to injury, Louisiana's oil-sucking barges were halted by the administration because the Coast Guard had to "confirm" that the barges had fire extinguishers and life vests aboard. After those "concerns" were allayed, the barges were then stalled because the Coast Guard had "problems" contacting the company that constructed the barges.

If Obama were more concerned with stopping the spill of oil rather than the spill in his poll numbers, he would offer whatever legitimate assistance the federal government can provide and then get out of the way.

IF YOU ARE THE PRESIDENT, AND YOU SAY YOU WILL DO SOMETHING, AND THEN YOU DON'T DO IT, YOU TARNISH THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT AS WELL AS THE GOVERNMENT AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY. SAYING WE MUST CHANGE OUR ENERGY POLICY WITH OUT KNOWING OR EXPLAINING HOW WE WILL GET "THERE" OR WHEN BUT WE MUST TRUST YOU TO GET US "THERE" WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE "THERE" IS, SOUNDS LIKE A RUDDERLESS CAPTAIN FROM "HERE".

I can’t make heads or tails of this President. If you want to see a man who is truly a snake oil salesman able to talk out of both sides of his mouth, never listening to anyone else’s ideas or alternative solution, then look no farther than The White House and the man sitting in the big chair.

In this artical in The Washington Post this morning, Obama is truly talking pie-in-the-sky politics. He is asking for “emergency funds”…. AGAIN!!! What in God’s name is he doing? There are no funds for this. Washington is broke, the American taxpayer is broke, and congress has laws that say you can’t ask for any more money unless you provide funding by either cuts in spending or new capital. This request even asks for a cut to doctors who work on Medicare patients be delayed. Did you know the government can tell a doctor what he can make now?

So you need money so you can delay cuts so you can pay for police and pay fire fighters etc. so these people won’t be put on the unemployment dole so Obama’s unemployment numbers won’t look so bad so he will not fall to historic lows in the polls so he won’t be called the worst president ever because that would be racist because he is black because you can’t call this president anything other than wise and competent because because because because…. Because of the wonderful things he does.

"While some people say you have to spend and some people say you have to cut, the president wants to talk about both cuts and investing," Rahm Emanuel said.

What?!?

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), called the letter full of "contradictions."

"He's calling on Congress to pass a jobless bill that will add about $80 billion to the deficit, but then calls for fiscal discipline; he says these measures need to be targeted and temporary, but then calls for extending programs passed in the stimulus more than a year ago.” Republicans have offered an alternative package that proposes to cover the cost of additional jobless benefits -- but not aid to state governments -- by cutting federal spending elsewhere. In contrast to the Democratic bill, the GOP measure would reduce deficits by nearly $55 billion over the next decade, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. But we can’t wisten to those wascally wepubwickans.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph… My mind can’t even get past the first paragraph of this letter he wrote. My God what have we done… This is "Craziness on Crack." He can’t stop and won’t stop trying to prove we can spend our way out of this hole until we are all destitute.

Albert Einstein said, “The only difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.” We see proof of this not just in my comments sections from Bill Minnich, Dio-genius and other anonymous sources, but lately we see it hourly in this Obama administration. What they do not understand is what will destroy this economy. Government cannot save this economy, but it can destroy it, and what I want to blog on here today is something we all must face. The freight train is about to go over the cliff and no one I know of is talking about this:

The Bush Tax Cuts are about to expire.

If this happens, we will return to the higher tax rates set by the Clinton administration in the 90’s. This spells disaster for American business large and small. I don't see anything in the Democratic Party that says they're not comfortable raising the top tax rates to the level they were in the Clinton administration. That does not mean they won't avail themselves of the 'we're still recovering' notion and say those should be effective in 2012 rather than 2011. That might be one of the big fights coming here. The House might say 2011; the Senate will have difficulty with that notion.

The facts are as we stand right now, while still under the Bush cuts, the top 1% income tax payers paid 40% of all taxes last year. If the cuts expire, that figure will rise to 53%. To simplify this, the top 1/5th of wage earners last year paid 83% of all taxes.

If you take these cuts away from the top wage earners in this country, you can forget this fractious recovery we find ourselves being told we are having today. There will be no jobs. There will be no money going for conventions, large events, real estate purchases or big ticket items which means no work for the little guys like you and me.

The Bush Tax Cuts are the lynch pin. If it is pulled, our economy will fall apart and Obama is ready to pull it with his new budget. No one is saying it, because it’s a terrible fact we will all be facing.

I guarantee it.

I cannot find one person Obama has appointed to a position of power in this administration that actually does their job the way the law says the job should be done.

Example: Everyone in this administration, when a job is given to them, gets an ethics briefing. In that briefing they are told what they can and cannot do in the performance of their duties. One of the biggies in every one of those briefings is this issue of quid-pro-quo. You cannot give someone something in exchange for a vote or a favor or whatever. You can’t. It’s against the law. So when Joe Sestak gets offered a “high level job” (those are his words) in the Obama administration in exchange for ending his race against Arlen Specter, was the law broken. I don’t give a rats butt if it happens all the time, and it s funny democrats are saying that because the guy who coined that very phrase, Bill Clinton, is up to his neck in this suddenly and chief of staff Raul Emanuel is covered in mud.

Now, yet another story comes to light saying the White House plied Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff last year in hopes he would forgo a challenge to Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet.

Ethics? What ethics? This White House is Crime Incorporated. I can’t find one single redeeming quality in the President or his staff or the people he has surrounded himself with. It’s like they don’t know how to do things legally. They have no experience in ethical behaviour. Who knew….

We have known war. The war we fight today is not our choice. Though we could choose to stop the fighting, if we did, many many more would die in the wake of Islamic terror and Taliban rule. If you don’t believe me you are sadly naive and have chosen to ignore the facts of the Muslim world and its edicts. I was born in a time when wars were fought but I was too young and before I became eighteen the draft ended. I guess some would say that’s lucky. I wouldn’t.

This next generation has lost its fair share of good women and men who have paid the ultimate price. Still more who engaged the enemy bare the physical and emotional scars left by the loss of limbs and friends: Those whose code it was to watch your comrades back as you watched theirs. In a way I regret having missed the opportunity. Stories of those who lay helpless in the jungles of south east Asia were read today from the pulpit of my Church. Tears flowed freely at the heroic efforts of those who placed their lives at the lowest priority so others could be pulled to safety. As these narratives were told, I wondered if I would have… could have… done what they did. One story told of a pilot who returned to an area in the Vietnam jungle 14 times to take wounded to MASH units while under direct orders not to return. Yet he went, again and again and again and again as bullets ripped through his chopper. When he finally landed after all were retrieved from the battle, he had been shot four times in the left leg and left arm. He lost the leg but won the Medal of Honor for what he did.

He died last Wednesday.

This Blog is for Him. I am not worthy of shining his boots.

There is no greater love than when a man lays down his life for another.

God only makes men and women like these when we need men and women like these.

I was talking to a close friend yesterday. He said, "You know Eric, your blog is so serious and in person you’re very funny. Your blog doesn’t really represent you. It could give people the feeling you’re too blunt and coarse.”

Well I was not aware the perception of my blog gave this impression. When I put up the Kim June video I thought that was funny. He didn’t see it that way but liberals have no sense of humor, so that was expected. My friend also said my blog was very “political and not very spiritual.” Well, ok, so much for Church and state separation…

So let’s talk Corporate Religion. Now, this is deep stuff and I need you to know the implications of corporate infiltration of the Church. I could tell you about it, but that would bore y’all so here’s my friend Tim Hawkins giving a much more exciting overview.

It would appear we here in fly-over America are fascist racists who care nothing about the misfortune of those who are of Mexican heritage. Mexico arrests and imprisons for a minimum of two years and then deports anyone in their country illegally. They ask for papers. They listen to accents and decide arbitrarily on the spot if you are in their country illegally. This is not racist.

Arizona makes a law giving the authority to their law enforcement officials to arrest anyone who, after being questioned for other reasons, is in America illegally. This is racist. The government says it is. Why? Well the best reason I can find is the government is now being run by a four headed monster visa vie the democrat, left, progressive liberals, who need these illegal intruders votes to win elections. They don’t want to protect our boarders. They believe everything is working fine.

So here’s the deal: We’ll see you to the door, or maybe to the boarder, but one thing is for sure: Those who stood and applauded the Mexican President this last week are in for a big kick in the ass.

What the Revolution stands for is self reliance, self control, unshackled dreams and liberty. It’s about taxes being far too high for America to pull out of the recession we are in. It’s about government being responsible and respond-able. It’s become too big and too bloated to flex when problems like Katrina and oil spills in the gulf occur. We say if American business can downsize and streamline to be more efficient then government must too.

This means pain.

The biggest pain is the withdrawal from entitlements many Americans are hooked on.

It means if you need welfare, ok, but will you please pee in this cup so we can

know for sure you are not using welfare to support your criminal behavior?

We will not stand idle as Obama dismantles America.
We have arrived. We are the people.

Janet Napolitano needs to be fired, and yesterday is not too soon. Twice now (that we know of) in just over four months a person on the “No Fly” list was allowed to be seated on a plane. This is inexcusable. Where are the congressional investigations? Where are the pundits calling for heads to roll? This openly gay limp wristed linguini spined mentally dysfunctional mutation who’s running Homeland Security is an insult. I am sick of looking at her lying ugy face telling the people of America she was on the oil spill from day one and the system worked blah blah blah. She couldn’t run 10 yards much less security for a day care. Fire her NOW!!

Next up is Bank of America. Now, I went to snoops.com and checked this out and it’s true. This is an actual conversation a former customer of Bank of America had:

Bank of America , can I help you?

Customer: Yes, I want to cancel my account. I don't want to do business with you any longer.

The Bank: Why?

Customer: You're giving credit to illegal immigrants and I don't think it's right. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

The Bank: Well, Mr. Customer, we don't want to see you do that, but we can't stop you. I'll help you close the account. What is your account number?

Customer: (gives account number)

The Bank: For security purposes and for your protection, can you please give me the last four digits of your social security number?

Customer: No.

The Bank: Mr. Customer, I need to verify your information, but in order to help you, I'll need verification of who you are..

Customer: Why should I give you my social security number? The reason I'm closing my account is that your bank is issuing credit cards to illegal immigrants who don't have social security numbers. You are targeting that audience and want their business. Let's say I'm an illegal immigrant and you've given me a credit card. I have a question about it and call for assistance. You wouldn't be asking me for a Social Security number, would you?

The Bank: No sir, I wouldn't.

Customer: Why not?

The Bank: Because you would have pressed '2' to speak in Spanish. We don't ask for that information when calling in on the Spanish line.

Obviously this is a bank I will never use. It IS NOT racist to say if you come to live in my country you have to learn the laws and the language. It IS racist if you are here illegally and you get preferential treatment from government or businesses and are given opportunities that those of us who are here legally do not get. It IS NOT racist to expect an immigrant to carry proof of citizenship with him at all times because that is what THE LAW REQUIRES. It IS racist to march and protest against the country you are in illegally.

Oh, by the way, if you think I’m wrong here, you’re racist.

And finally, I want to say something here about The National Day of Prayer which as of this posting is tomorrow. I have the right to assemble and pray. People fought and died for that right, and that is a debit we can never repay for Christ showed us there is no greater love than someone laying down their life for our own. This country needs God. It needs to be asking God for help. Its’ leaders need to be asking God for guidance. It’s people need to be praying for the next Supreme Court Judge, no matter who it is. In her 66-page opinion, U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb said the holiday violates the "establishment clause" of the First Amendment, which creates a separation of church and state. She said,"I understand that many may disagree with that conclusion and some may even view it as a criticism of prayer or those who pray. That is unfortunate.”

No kidding. What is really unfortunate is her eye sight, because I see no such clause. Unbeknown to many liberals, the words "wall of separation between church and state" do not appear in our Constitution -- nor is this notion implied. Thomas Jefferson penned those words in an 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in response to a letter they wrote him objecting to Connecticut's establishment of Congregationalism as their state church. Jefferson assuaged their concerns, telling them the First Amendment prohibited the national government from establishing a "national church," but he concluded rightly that the Constitution (see the Tenth Amendment's federalism provision) prohibited the national government from interfering with the matters of state governments -- a "wall of separation," if you will, between the federal government and state governments.

There is ample evidence that Jefferson did not intend for that metaphor to become an iron curtain between church and state. Though he favored a secularist state, he knew that the Constitution offered no such proscription on religious observance and practice in the public square. Those, including judicial activists, who insist such was Jefferson's original intent, and that of our Constitution, are either historically nescient or they harbor a disingenuous motive to serve a secularist constituent agenda.

This fundamental violation of federalist principle was the central issue in 2003, when Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore defied an order by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the state's justice building rotunda. Of such judicial diktats, Thomas Jefferson warned, "The Constitution [will become] a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary which they may twist and shape into any form they please."

Indeed, it has become just that.

As for that utterly phony "wall of separation," Princeton scholar Stanley Katz says that correcting the "Jeffersonian myth" will have a "profound impact on the current law and politics of church and state." Joining the debate, Justice Clarence Thomas argues, "This doctrine, born of bigotry, should be buried now."

However, this issue is not merely about federalism and states' rights. It is about the rule of law and the future of our Constitutional Republic. That is precisely why Senate Democrats are so insistent on blocking the President's judicial nominations. They know that the real locus of central-government power now resides on the federal bench, not in the legislature. This struggle between judicial governance versus government of, by and for the people, is really at the core of the current debate.

Pray for peace. Pray for our troupes and their families. Pray for this nation, that under God, all men and women are equal and given the dream so many have worked hard to realize. But above all, pray God is allowed back where he should never have been chased out of: In the halls and gathering places where freedom is preserved and laws are made. May we turn from man, and look to God for guidance, for it is only with God we are assured the victory.

I have to tell yah, I have zero problem with what Arizona and its governor are doing. The people there are through with illegal immigration and the 436,000 undocumented law breakers they have put up with. I would be too. All this new law does is make officials enforce existing laws, which federal boarder patrol agents won’t do. We don’t need reform, or new laws, or congress to act. Barack Obama is standing up for these leaches and drug mules and even the few Mexican citizens. Ranchers are being shot on their own land and Obama says Arizona is overreacting. He says Arizona is profiling: My favorite catch phrase of the year. With over 70% of the people of Arizona favoring the move, Obama is not just in the minority, he’s a racist. He has a problem with white Americans standing up against unlawful entry into our country. Obama doesn’t like the law: Never has. You run with that Mr. President. You start right at the four corners and run for the boarder, my money’s on the people winning. You keep up doing what people tell you not to do. Let me know how that works for yah. Tell you what, if we could oust the 30-40 million illegal’s here now, we just might be able to end the unemployment problem.
But then again, Obama wants people to depend on government for a paycheck and healthcare and retirement money and mortgage bailouts and corporate welfare and…. Well…you get the idea.

Ask yourself one question: If Obama doesn’t like what Arizona is doing, why is he not in Arizona telling the people of Arizona they’re wrong?

How do I loath thee… Let me count the ways. Well, some would say I can’t count that high, but I digress. As if another example was needed to demonstrate the utter poverty of honesty and transparency of this atrocious administration, Obama now finds himself on the wrong side of the law…again. He will be subpoenaed to give testimony in the Rod Blogojvcich case. Here we have a case of a Brittany Spears “Ooops I did it again.”

1. Obama may have lied about conversations with convicted fraudster Tony Rezko

Blagojevich's lawyers allege that Rezko admitted breaking the law by contributing "a large sum of cash" to a public official. Blagojevich's attorneys say that public official is Obama. Obama said that Rezko never relayed a request from a lobbyist to hold a fundraiser in favor of favorable legislative action. But the point may be moot: regardless of Obama talking/not talking to Rezko, Blagojevich's attorneys say that Obama refused the request regardless.

Redacted portion: However, the defense has a good faith belief that Mr. Rezko, President Obama’s former friend, fund-raiser, and neighbor told the FBI and the United States Attorneys a different story about President Obama. In a recent in camera proceeding, the government tendered a three paragraph letter indicating that Rezko “has stated in interviews with the government that he engaged in election law violations by personally contributing a large sum of cash to the campaign of a public official who is not Rod Blagojevich. … Further, the public official denies being aware of cash contributions to his campaign by Rezko or others and denies having conversations with Rezko related to cash contributions. … Rezko has also stated in interviews with the government that he believed he transmitted a quid pro quo offer from a lobbyist to the public official, whereby the lobbyist would hold a fundraiser for the official in exchange for favorable official action, but that the public official rejected the offer. The public official denies any such conversation. In addition, Rezko has stated to the government that he and the public official had certain conversations about gaming legislation and administration, which the public official denies having had.

2. Obama may have overtly recommended Valerie Jarret for his Senate seat

Blagojevich's defense team basically alleges that Obama told a certain labor union official that he (Obama) would support Valerie Jarrett's candidacy for the Senate seat. Jarrett, referred to as "Senate Candidate B", is now a senior advisor to the president.

Redacted portion: Yet, despite President Obama stating that no representatives of his had any part of any deals, labor union president told the FBI and the United States Attorneys that he spoke to labor union official on November 3, 2008 who received a phone message from Obama that evening. After labor union official listened to the message labor union official told labor union president “I’m the one”. Labor union president took that to mean that labor union official was to be the one to deliver the message on behalf of Obama that Senate Candidate B was his pick. (Labor union president 302, February 2, 2009, p. 7).

Labor union official told the FBI and the United States Attorneys “Obama expressed his belief that [Senate Candidate B] would be a good Senator for the people of Illinois and would be a candidate who could win re-election. [Labor union official] advised Obama that [labor union official] would reach out to Governor Blagojevich and advocate for [Senate Candidate B] ... [Labor union official] called [labor union president] and told [labor union president] that Obama was aware that [labor union official] would be reaching out to Blagojevich.” (Labor union official 302, February 3, 2009 p. 3).

3. A supporter of President Obama may have offered quid pro quo on a Jarrett senate appointment

Redacted portion: Supporter of Presidential Candidate Obama is mentioned in a phone call on November 3, 2008, having offered “fundraising” in exchange for Senate Candidate B for senator (Blagojevich Home Phone Call # 149).

4. Obama maintained a list of good Senate candidates

Redacted portion: President-elect Obama also suggested Senate Candidate A to Governor Blagojevich. John Harris told the FBI and the United States Attorneys that he spoke to President’s Chief of Staff on November 12, 2008. Harris took notes of the conversation and wrote that President’s Chief had previously worked as Blagojevich's press secretary. Obama agreed of Staff told Harris that Senate Candidate A was acceptable to Obama as a senate pick. (Harris handwritten notes, OOG1004463) President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that “he could not say where but somewhere it was communicated to him that” Senate Candidate A was a suggested candidate viewed as one of the four “right” candidates “by the Obama transition team.”

5. Rahm Emanuel allegedly floated Cheryl Jackson's name for the Senate seat

Redacted portion: President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that he had a conversation discussing the Senate seat with Obama on December 7, 2008 in Obama’s car. President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI “Obama expressed concern about Senate Candidate D being appointed as Senator.

[President’s Chief of Staff] suggested they might need an expanded list to possibly include names of African Americans that came out of the business world. [President’s Chief of Staff] thought he suggested Senate Candidate E who was the head of the Urban League and with President’s Chief of Staff’s suggestion.

6. Obama had a secret phone call with Blagojevich

Redacted portion: President-elect Obama also spoke to Governor Blagojevich on December 1, 2008 in Philadelphia. On Harris Cell Phone Call # 139, John Harris and Governor’s legal counsel discuss a conversation Blagojevich had with President-elect Obama. The government claims a conspiracy existed from October 22, 2008 continuing through December 9, 2008.6 That conversation is relevant to the defense of the government’s theory of an ongoing conspiracy. Only Rod Blagojevich and President Obama can testify to the contents of that conversation. The defense is allowed to present evidence that corroborates the defendant’s testimony.

Can we smell any worse? Can we be more like Clinton then this? He comes from the "Windy City" and I got to tell y'all, This not only blows, but it sucks, and that sucking sound coming from just south of me has become a roar no one can ignore anymore.

BILL MINNICH IS RIGHT

I have taken issue with all sorts of people on the left and on the right. I don’t agree with most everything the left does but if there is an idea that has promise, I have said so and acknowledge it. I never was in “lock step” with Bush or his administration. I have criticized Rush, Savage, and local talk show hosts such as Mark Belling. So, hard as it is for me to say this, I want to go on record here that I have to agree today with Bill Minnich. Bill often takes issue with talkers on the right, including me, and the feud we share is fun if not furious. But today, I need to take issue with one of those talkers, Glenn Beck, whom Bill holds in contempt, and the reason is three fold.

Number one is that Beck is wrong. This week Beck took issue with Paul Ryan, my congressman from the great state of Wisconsin, and the issue revolves around a speech Paul Ryan made recently. First, lets see what Glenn said to get some perspective:

To pick out lines of a speech, the substance of which is subject to perspective of a personal nature, and to call this great congressman an equal to John McCain, is truly a reach and in my opinion, so counterproductive to the cause of the republic, it needs to be said emphatically that Glenn Beck is wrong. Glenn may be right about the origins of progressivism, but he is pure wrong about Ryan and I know Paul Ryan personally. I have met him, shook his hand and talked with him over the years about many things. He is no McCain. He is Conservative, and he is entitled to make mistakes just as Glenn Beck is. This time however, it is Beck who is on the wrong side of the issue and here is why: Paul Ryan's record is firmly ensconced in conservative patterns. Yes, he made a mistake on Tarp reform and he acknowledges this but many were fooled by this bill. But looking over the record of Ryan can only bring one to say he is consistent and he is a man of principle and conscience. The thing I love about him is he will admit his wrongs, though they are few, and he will tell you why and how he came to those wrong conclusions articulately and with accountability, and that, my friends, is clarity. Refreshingly and wonderfully clear. Paul stood up to Obama, McCain, Bush and others when it was the right thing to do and he helped me get my daughter home when the Navy could not find the orders they had sent to medically and honorably discharge her after becoming ill in the aftermath of Iraqi invasion which lead to the capture of Saddam. Even if he had not done that for my family, my feelings for him would be the same. I have never met a more honest and principled man in elected office, and I know a few…Quite a few. Wisconsin is the birthplace of the Republican Party. That happened because Wisconsin was also a hotbed for socialism. Milwaukee had socialist mayors for decades upon decades and has never elected a Republican to the office.

I stand with Paul Ryan, and as long as he stands by the principles I hold near and dear to my heart, I will stand with him and fight for him and help him to attain any office, should he desire to go higher in his quest for leadership.
