CHEWING ON THE ELITE

I attended a Tea Party here in Walworth County this Labor Day Weekend and so did about 5 or 6 hundred others. It was good to see friends and strangers joining together and literally speaking in one voice. The rally cry is now clear: We will not stand by and watch this president disassemble the principles of the Constitution. We will not be taxed to death and have our children and their children be made to pay for a plan destined to fail. You can't say that the system is totally broken and in need of radical reconstruction, but nothing will change for you; that Medicare is bankrupting the country, but $500 billion in cuts will have no effect on care; that you will expand coverage while reducing deficits -- and not inspire incredulity and mistrust. When ordinary citizens understand they are being played for fools, they bristle.

This great bi-partisan who blames his predecessor for all the bad things happening to America says he is trying to save us from a Rome-like fall while playing his fiddle so badly half the country can’t listen anymore.

Sometimes, you’ve got to let liberals be liberals and watch them eat each other.

Why?

Come on… Who doesn’t like good comedy?
